ME Qualifier: Fast Traxx

Last weekend was the last region for me to qualify for. Raced at Fast Traxx in the supermini 1 and supermini 2 classes. On Saturday for the supermini 1 class, I got a bad jump and a pile-up happened right in front of me. I was tangled and was in dead last! I raced very aggressive and came from 23rd to 2nd! It was very exciting. I am now training hard, ready to head to Ballance for the Mid-East Regional. See you there!

High Point NE

I am still surprised at all of the talent that is coming to the Northeast region. There is divisions in 4-5 different classes! I am already qualified in the NE but High Point is 30 minutes up the road and I could not pass up the good racing. Although my actual results will not show up because I did not buy the qualifying paper, I placed 4th  (2 and 5 score) overall in supermini-1 on Saturday. If you happen to look up the results, check out the states that were there. SIXTEEN states were represented and we had a racer clear from Texas (actually a few).  It was cold and rained for the second set of motos, but we all had a great time.

Next up is the Mid-East where we will be racing at Fast Traxx Motoplex. I will also be racing at Pleasure Valley Raceway for their LL qualifier. Focused and training hard. Stay safe,

SouthEast: Lake Sugar Tree

WOW is all I can say. The weather in VA was one of the nastiest storms I have ever raced in! Tornado warnings, hail stones the size of golf balls, and thunderstorms were everywhere! They raced a one moto format and the main goal at this point was: QUALIFY and do not tear up the bike! I qualified in all three classes (super 1, super 2, & schoolboy 2).

Great friends, nice track, but AWFUL weather. That is one thing we can never control though. Glad everyone had a safe trip!

Next up:  High Point! I have already qualified in the NE but Rita doesn't race her tracks very often and we live 30 minutes away. The mecca of the industry may be in SoCal but they do not have the Coomb's family! I live 10 minutes from Morgantown (Fairmont) and WVU football/basketball is in my heart and soul!

Good luck everyone and be safe!

Loretta Lynn Nationals Journey

I am so ready for qualifiers to begin. I am going to race the NE, ME, and SE regions. I am the most excited go race the Northeast. I live in Fairmont, WV and I pass by MX Sports every day! Davey Coombs writes about Morgantown WV alot in Racer X and unless you live here, you cannot understand it. My sister lives in Morgantown and goes to WVU (let's go Mountaineers!) so driving past the offices of Racer Production and seeing different RV's of racers in the parking lot just makes me want to ride more! I only wish that our weather was more like Florida than Alaska! It is such a great privilege to ride at High Point and Steel City as most kids do not get to race on National Tracks for "local/district" races!

This blog entry is where I will post my results as I journey through the qualifiers and regionals. I only hope that I can do justice with words to explain how awesome my experiences will be! See you at the races :)

NEW YEAR, NEW ATTITUDE

This is a blog to start the 2012 racing season out right. We are hoping that this season is the best ever. Anthony has been training hard during this off-season and has been working hard on his mental game. Chad Sanner of Eleven10 builds THE BEST bikes and I cannot thank him enough. I wish the weather is WV would get a little warmer so that we can start practicing up in Uniontown with the boys of Eleven10. Good luck to everyone this year. Loretta Lynn qualifiers start in a few short weeks!
